Orders, Shipping, and Returns
Below are some of are common questions about orders and shipping
We don't accept returns on plants, accessories, supplies, or merchandise. However, if your plant or planter arrives severely damaged, please send us a message via our Contact Us form at the bottom of the page or email support@greenrabbitplants.com, and we will be happy to assist.
We process orders within 1 business day, so please notify us of any address changes within that time. Once an order has been shipped, we cannot make modifications.
Orders ship from our greenhouse in Raleigh, NC. Standard delivery typically takes 3-5 business days from the ship date, depending on your location, while expedited shipping arrives in 2 business days.
Orders placed on weekend will be shipped out the following Monday to avoid your plant sitting in a shipping facility or truck longer than it needs to.
Please note that inclement weather can affect delivery timeframes.
Shipping costs start at $6 and depend on the distance, cart size, and shipping speed you choose. Whether you’re going for standard or expedited shipping, we’ll calculate the cost based on these factors.
Hmm.. last minute shopping? We’ve been there! Don’t worry, we’ve got your back with 2-day expedited shipping at checkout. Just make sure to order before 4PM ET and your stuff will zoom out the door the next day. Order after 4PM ET on Fridays, and your package will start its weekend a little early, shipping out on Monday instead.
We ship to all 48 contiguous states in the United States!
We use UPS or FedEx for shipping based on the address provided. Unfortunately, we can't accommodate specific shipping service requests.
Orders are dispatched from our Raleigh, NC location. Standard shipping usually takes 3-5 business days, depending on where you’re located. If you choose expedited shipping, your order will arrive in 2 business days. Keep in mind that delivery may be delayed due to bad weather.
If your order tracking status shows 'Delivered,' we recommend waiting a bit longer. Sometimes our shipping partners mark items as delivered before they actually arrive, or your package might be left with a neighbor in the same building rather than the intended recipient.
If it's been 3 days and you still haven’t received your package, please check with your shipping carrier (e.g., UPS, FedEx) for further information. If you still need assistance, please visit our Contact Us page to send an inquiry.
Plant Care
Below are some common questions about caring for your plants
When you first receive your plant, unpack it carefully and inspect it for any damage. Water it lightly if the soil feels dry, and place it in a spot that aligns with the preferred lighting conditions of the plant (can be found by searching for your plant via the search bar on the top left of your window)
Healthy plants typically have vibrant, green leaves and firm stems.
Some light wilting or yellow leaves are normal, as your plant makes its journey to you. Your plant might need a bit of sunlight, water, and light pruning to recover.
If your plant arrives healthy, but in a slightly stressed condition, please allow for some time for it to adjust to its new environment. If it doesn’t perk up within 5 days of your delivery date, just let us know and we’ll help you out!
If your plant arrives with significant wilting, brown spots, or yellowing leaves shoot us a note via "Contact Us" or email support@greenrabbitplants.com with clear photos of the plant and packaging within 48 hours so we can assist you with a refund or replacement.
To find the watering requirements for your plant, use the search bar at the top left of the window to locate it. Once you’ve found your plant, scroll down on the plant page to view our plant care matrix.
When you water, make sure you water thoroughly and deeply, until you see water come out from the nursery pot drainage holes.

It's usually best to wait a few weeks before repotting your new plant to allow it time to acclimate to its new environment. However, if the plant appears to be root-bound or the pot is damaged, you may need to repot sooner.
If your plant arrives severely damaged or in poor condition, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the plant and packaging. We’ll be happy to assist with a replacement or refund based on our return policy.
